ETP Transmission ABQUICK EASY PRECISE
ETP HYDRO-GRIP mounted in 9 seconds. A technician slides the bushing onto the shaft, tightens a single pressure screw, and the hub is locked in place in about nine seconds. The video has no sound.
How the ETP hydraulic principle works. An animation shows the pressure medium inside the bushing's double-walled sleeve expanding evenly against both shaft and hub, creating a zero-backlash connection. The video has no sound.

ETP HYDRO-GRIP Hydraulic keyless shaft bushings for fast, precise shaft-to-hub connections

Faster mounting

Mounts in seconds

Zero backlash

Full shaft-to-hub contact

Low profile

Minimized hub diameter

Ultra-low runout

Superior concentricity

Why choose a keyless shaft bushing?

A keyless bushing doesn’t rely on a key to transmit torque. It uses the entire circumference of the shaft, with surface pressure distributed evenly over the full length of the connection — reducing the micro-movements that cause fretting. ETP® bushings use a self-contained hydraulic pressure medium for a secure, zero-backlash connection.

No keyway required

Surface pressure holds the hub in place — no keyways, tapers or tapped holes that weaken the shaft and cause fretting, corrosion and backlash.

Infinitely phase-adjustable

Set the angle and axial position freely, then lock. Ideal for phasing and timing to synchronize machine components.

Fast changeovers

Mount and dismount with a few actuating screws — a single screw in many cases — hundreds to thousands of times with no change in performance.

Smaller shafts, same torque

Without a milled keyway, a smaller shaft can transmit the same torque — saving space, material and machining costs.

Precise location

ETP bushings don’t “walk” along the shaft during actuation, so components stay exactly where you set them.

Stainless options

Stainless-steel models are available for wash-down, food and other corrosive environments.
